I promise....I won't send the dog! Finding the right speaker for your event is always a challenge. You rarely know what you are going to get, or how well your speaker will be received. First of all, you should know that I love speaking in public and it shows. Over my 15-plus years in broadcasting, I've spoken at well over 1000 different events, from small classrooms to large arenas, all with great results. One thing I've found out since I started speaking on the subject of Public Speaking is this: Almost everyone is afraid of it. With %90 of the population breaking into a sweat at the mere thought of speaking in public, the subject makes for a perfect topic to discuss at your function - it's about as common as the weather. I encourage group participation (Q and A) and inject a healthy amount of humor to keep your audience entertained and interested. Your audience will acquire a tremendous amount of practical and useful information on Public Speaking in a very short period of time - audio recording is recommended.
